The Love Sucks I Know Nothing About It Spell

The Love Sucks I Know Nothing About It Spell Cover

YOU WILL NEED:

* Milk
* Shot of rum
* An egg
* Teaspoon of sugar
* Spritz of Lemon Juice

This spell is for those damaged souls who have been through the mill in love. They have failed, and they have failed miserably. They are not even willing to take another chance on love because they feel crippled underneath the baggage they are already carrying. This spell combines a bit of wisdom and a bit of hope and a heap of renewal energy. This spell may be performed only on the new moon. You can perform this spell on yourself or for that dismal friend of yours with his/her consent before you try to fix him/her up with a blind date.

Heat up the milk, add a shot of rum (or imitation rum flavoring), crack an egg, and stir it in (minus the shell). Add a teaspoon of sugar and a spritz of lemon juice. Take off the stove before it reaches a boil and guzzle it down quickly. Lemon heals, neutralizes, and repels negative energy, situations, and hopelessness. Milk is loving and nurturing, cures depression, and alleviates fear. Rum clears the way and brings insight, eggs are for rebirth, and the sugar will sweeten the new path of love that awaits you.

To Put Someone In The Sugar Bowl

To Put Someone In The Sugar Bowl Cover
You'll need something to represent her/him (a photo, a slip of paper with Their
full name, a personal item, etc...).

Take the item and place it in a bowl of sugar--you can also place it in the
sugar canister if you wish--so that the sugar completely covers it.

Say,
"About me, you will think only sweet thoughts.
About me you will only say sweet things.
As I will it, so mote it be."

Walk away from the sugar bowl, do not discuss the working with anyone, and do
not dwell on the situation. (I have found that, if I continue to focus on the
problem, the results of my spells often are hampered.)

Wicca For Beginners Fundamentals Of Philosophy And Practice

Wicca For Beginners Fundamentals Of Philosophy And Practice Cover

Book: Wicca For Beginners Fundamentals Of Philosophy And Practice by Thea Sabin

In her first book-length work, Sabin presents a first-rate, fresh and thorough addition to the burgeoning field of earth-based spiritual practice volumes. Sometimes using examples that young people can relate to (SATs, dying grandmothers), she opens the door to this path for people of all ages who want concrete beginnings to "work actively and spiritually to develop as a person." Sabin covers well the familiar territory of the calendar, circle, pentagram, tools, etc., but she shines distinctively in several areas. The first is in Wiccan history, written in a light, informative style that magically mines depth, breadth and brevity. Another is in the emphasis on personal will and ethical practices that transcend reliance on external paraphernalia. She also deftly shows how the various tools and spells can be put into use, but always encourages practitioners to utilize their own experiences, environment and spiritual intelligence to shape their practice. Especially helpful are the criteria to assess groups and potential teachers, and the volume is capped by a fine bibliography. Sabin advocates consistent study, practice and evolved learning. Gently admonishing her reader not to become a "one-book wonder," Sabin has nearly voided her own advice with this important first effort that is perfect for novice Wiccans.

As a teacher of Wicca for many years, I'm always looking for better materials to use for training. I am grateful to Ms. Sabin for providing what will undoubtedly be the introductory book I will recommend for the foreseeable future. She presents the basics without pushing any given path or tradition, often presenting varying interpretations and viewpoints in a non-judgemental manner. This is a solid foundation for seekers to use as a springboard to whatever flavor of Wicca they choose to explore. I appreciate that she addresses ethics within Wicca, which many authors seem to avoid, or present in a highly simplistic manner. The book is clearly meant for beginners, hence the title, and is possibly the best overall introduction I have yet seen.

I bought this book to learn more about the wiccan religion as my girlfriend is wiccan and I had no prior (correct) knowledge of the religion. This book offers an excellent intro to the history, philosophy and basic practices of the religion as the title suggest. Its also doesn't read like a textbook so its fun and to read. In general I would reccomend this book to anyone just starting out who wants to learn more about the religion.

The Spiritual Guide The Rich Treasure Of Internal Peace

The Spiritual Guide The Rich Treasure Of Internal Peace Cover

Book: The Spiritual Guide The Rich Treasure Of Internal Peace by Michael De Molinos

This document is a transcription of an English translation of The Spiritual Guide by Miguel de Molinos The English translation was published in London, in 1688, and is a translation of an Italian edition published in Venice, in 1685. The English translation has the author as “Dr. Michael de Molinos”. The transcription was performed in November and December of 1997, from a microfilmed copy of the 1688 English translation.

The Book that is here presented ye, is a Translation from the Italian Copy, Printed at Venice in 1685. The first Man that got it, with difficulty, out of the Authour’s hands, and then had it Printed at Rome in 1675, with all the solemnity of approbations, was Fryer John of St. Mary, who styles himself Provincial; and he speaks very fine things of it, and he had so heartily read it over, that the impression which it made in his Mind, gave him the exact cue and knack of that sort of Language which the Author uses, when he throws himself headlong into darkness and obscurity: And when this Man had recommended the Book to the sincere Reader, after his way; the next that appears to give a Grace to it, is no less a Man, than the Most Illustrious and most Reverend Lord, the Archbishop of Rhegium, who tells us how many great Offices in the Church he had pass’d through; he says in his Approbation of the Book, that ‘tis a hard matter to make a judgement of it, without some experience of the things contained in it: And that how high soever the secret of it be above all humane Discourse, yet they are not only not contrary to the right dictates of Reason, but altogether conformable to it: Which is as fitting a Preface to some things in the Book, as any man in the World could have made with the Study of Seven Years: First, to say that these sovereign Secrets, which the Book treats of, are above all human Discourse; and then in the very next words, to say they are conformable altogether to the dictates of Reason: as if the dictates of Reason and human Discourse had entered into a Combination never to come to a right understanding of one another.

He that would be further satisfied of the fitness of this Archbishop’s Character to the Book, will be gratified, by reading patiently some things of the Nineteenth and Twentieth Chapters of the Third Book: But ‘tis enough, that this great Man speaks well of his Countryman Molinos’s Doctrine, that ‘tis according to the judgment of the holy Fathers, and the usual way of Mystical Divines, he says again, that the Author of this Book, does not speak his own Capricios, but follows the footsteps of the Ancients, and builds upon their Principles, and spiritual Foundations, that he reduces ‘em to a right and clear Method, bringing forth (says he) out of his Treasures, things new and old; And for the Stile of the Book, he allows it to be clear, easie, plain, and full in such crabbed hard and lofty Subject; adding withal, that the Man doth not decline Proofs of Scripture, Doctrines of the Fathers, Decrees of Councils, nor the
Principles of Morality, and therefore he judges it to be a useful Piece, and very worth to be Printed: and what can be said more to set any Book off. Next to the Archbishop’s Approbation, in comes that of Fryer Francis-Mary, Minister
General of the whole Franciscan Order, given from his Convent of Ara Coeli, who speaks mighty kindly and favourably of the Book, & recommends it to the Press.

Circle Casting For The Hellenic Witch

Circle Casting For The Hellenic Witch Cover
After performing my last few rituals without casting a circle or having much buildup at all, I have begun to realize the importance of doing it--less I think for creating sacred space in the physical plane--as I believe all the world is automatically sacred space--but more for creating sacred space in your own mind, body and spirit--to give you a bit of a running start before making the leap into the sacred work. In that vein I offer here a Hellenic circle casting. Enjoy!

Casting the Circle:

* Gather all objects and implements necessary for the ritual or magic that is to be performed and lay them on the altar according to the plan shown in this book.
* With the besom, sweep an area large enough to lie down and stretch out in. Visualize all negativity being removed from the space, leaving the area you are to use for your circle clean, pure, and glowing.
* Light the Hestia candle or lamp which is placed at the center of the altar

Daughter of Rhea, Venerable Guardian of the Unwearying Flame,
this supplicant come before you now is yours-
-a mystic much blessed and holy.
The Gods have fixed their dwelling place in you,
strong, stable basis of the mortal race,
many-formed, eternal, laughing, blessed, lovely Queen, ever Scarlet One.
Accept these rites,
accord to each of us our just desires, gentle health, and needful goodness.
Hail Hestia!

* Place elemental representations at each cardinal point of the circle. At north, a bowl of salt; at east, a censer with lit incense; at south, a lit red candle; and at west, a bowl of water.
* Turn to the east, to the incense, and touch the point of the athame to it,

By the power my beloved Theoi, the Spirits of Nature, my ancestors and myself, I bless this incense. Esto!

* Repeat this blessing for all four elemental representations, moving from one to another in a clockwise direction.
* Stand facing east, athame at waist level, point facing out. Turn to the right and create the circle by walking around its perimeter and saying:

Here is the boundary of this sacred circle.
Naught but light shall enter herein,
naught but light shall emerge from within.
By the power of my beloved Theoi, the Spirits of Nature,
My ancestors and myself, Esto!

* Having returned to the east point, take up the incense and cense the perimeter of the circle, walking deosil and returning the censor to its place.
* Turn to the south and walk the candle around the circle deosil, then the water, and finally the bowl of salt, sprinkling just a bit around the perimeter. Sense the purifying of the circle, sense the creation of energy and sacred space.
* Standing at the east point of the circle and facing east, hold your hands up to the heavens and say:

Hail and welcome spirits of Air,
Chief among you Zephyros,
sweet West Wind who grants rest to weary labor,?A scent of grass and gentle song,?Oh vernal Wind, You bring to the delighted ships,?Impelled by You through the profound Sea, ?perusing with prosperous Fate Their destined course,?Zephyrs, unseen, formed from Air with wings of light,?With blameless breath regard Your supplicant's prayer.
I call upon you now
and ask you to attend this circle,
to give to it of your light and will,
to witness, to protect, and to consecrate
the work done herein.
Charge it by your power I pray.
Esto!

* Turn to the south, hold your hands up to the heavens and say:

Hail and welcome spirits of fire
Chief among you the Primal Fire.
O Primal Fire, ascend to us and rule the sky.?Aethereal Fire, radiant heat that inspires life,?Light Bearer, Power of Stars, ?Cause now the blooming of the iris and the rose,?And to the grain be kind,?Hear our prayer of supplication,?And be thou ever innocent, serene, and gentle to our Land.
call you now
and ask you to attend this circle,
to give to it of your light and will,
to witness, to protect, and to consecrate
the work done herein.
Charge it by your power I pray.
Esto!

* Turn to the west, hold your hands up to the heavens and say:

Hail and welcome spirits of water,
Chief among you Leucothea
Powerful Goddess in the mighty deeps,
?the profound sea Your home,
?Reveling in the waves.
Guardian of mankind who delivers ships from the fury of the storm ?
when all is lost and strength is gone,?
When tempests overwhelm the mariner with rushing waters,?
Your heart is touched with pity,?
And You hear the supplicant's prayer,?
Sparing the lives of those who run upon the sea.
Be present Goddess, and bring prosperity to the ships,
?defend Your mystics upon the stormy oceans,?
And conduct them safely to their destined end.
I call you now
and ask you to attend this circle,
to give to it of your light and will,
to witness, to protect, and to consecrate
the work done herein.
Charge it by your power I pray.
Esto!

* Turn to the north, hold your hands up to the heavens and say:

Hail and welcome spirits of Earth,
Chief among you Gaia
Source of Gods and Mortals,
All-Fertile, All-Destroying Mother of All,?
Who brings forth the bounteous fruits and flowers,?
All variety, Maiden who anchors the eternal world in our own,?
Immortal, Blessed, crowned with every grace,?
Deep bosomed Earth, sweet plains and fields fragrant grasses in the nurturing rains,?
Around you fly the beauteous stars, eternal and divine,
?Come, Blessed Goddess, and hear the prayers of Your child,?
And make the increase of the fruits and grains your constant care,
with the fertile seasons Your handmaidens,
?Draw near, and bless your supplicant.
I call you now
and ask you to attend this circle,
to give to it of your light and will,
to witness, to protect, and to consecrate
the work done herein.
Charge it by your power I pray.
Esto!

* Turn clockwise until you are standing facing the altar. Hold your hands up to the Heavens and say (You may replace this general invocation with one specific to the deities of the ritual):

I call to the Theoi, all the Goddesses and Gods!
Eos, Helios, and Silver Selene,
all the Powers of the shining sky.
Thetis, Triton, and Amphitrite Queen,
all the Powers of the salty seas,

To all the Theoi, Great Goddesses and Gods, Deathless Blessed Ones.
Theoi, I call you now
and ask you to attend this circle,
to give to it of your light and will,
to witness, to protect, and to consecrate
the work done herein.
Charge it by your power I pray.
Esto!

* The circle is now cast, consecrated, empowered, and sealed.

Releasing the Circle:

* Once the rite is ended, face east, hold your hands up and say:

Hail and farewell spirits of air
and beloved Zephyros
I thank you for your presence here.
Go in power and in peace,
And know that you are always welcome here.

* Repeat this formula for each cardinal point, substituting the appropriate names and directions.
* Turn clockwise until you face the altar. Hold you hands up to the heavens and say:

Hail and farewell
Beloved Theoi all.
I thank you for your presence here.
Go in power and in peace,
And know that you are always welcome here.
Esto!

* Take up the athame. Stand at the east point and, holding the athame at waist level, pierce the wall of the circle with its blade. Move deosil around the circle visualizing its power being sucked back into the knife. Literally pull if back into the blade and handle.
* When you arrive at the east again, the circle is no more. Stand at the center of what was your circle and say:

May this circle be open
but never broken
Esto!

* Clap your hands. The circle is now open.

To Learn The Truth

To Learn The Truth Cover
Light altar candles.

Light incense.

Think hard on the subject about which you wish to learn the truth.

Light petitioners candle…a candle representing yourself. (Can be any color you
feel represents yourself) and say:

"This candle I light to represent myself.
It burns as does the spirit.
It is as myself in all things."

Light 2 white candles and say"

"These are the symbols for truth.
They are enjoined about (your name)
And to me show all truth."

Then say:

"As I invoke the night cross, the brown heath bare,
In the bright moons light, saw a castle fair.
Lords and Ladies, great and small,
Were crowding in, 'twas a festival.
Grasses in the wind are waving
They bade me welcome and I went
To drink their wine to my heart's content.
I danced and laughed with the ladies fair,
Ne'er in my life had I such cheer,
Grasses in the wind are waving.
Then all at once there came a cry
Haro by yaro! Asleep fell I,
While a lady dancing at my side
Seemed like a lizard away to glide
Grasses in the wind are waving.
I woke in the early light of day
In an olden ruin I did lay,
O'er the rock and into the sun
I saw a green-gold lizard run!
Grasses in the wind are waving.
Now the truth I know and it stays with me
For I have seen what I did see,
All secret knowledge came to mind
Borne on laughter of the other kind.
Grasses in the wind are waving."

Sit then in quiet contemplation for half an hour. In this time will the truth of
the subject in question come to you. Extinguish candles.

Kindling A Fire Of Blessing

Kindling A Fire Of Blessing Image
In the 'altar work' of modern spellcasters, one of the simplest sorts of spell to cast is called 'setting a light'. This will be functionally familiar to most Pagans (and most Catholics, for that matter) as the lighting of a candle or small lamp for a specific intention, on one's own behalf or that of another. Healing for a distant friend, prosperity, return of lost items are just some of the things commonly worked for by this simple means.

In the process of writing 'cleanup' for the Nine Moons, I put together this simple candle-blessing charm, meant to accompany the setting of a light for a specific purpose.

A Charm for Kindling a Blessing Candle

- Prepare a spot for the candle to rest. If possible that spot should be on or near your Shrine, and be arranged with a sigil or photo or other expression of the intent of the candle.
- Hallow the Fire and Water on the Shrine, perhaps with the usual simple charm:

The Fire, the Well, the Sacred Tree
Flow and Flame and Grow in me
In Land, Sea and Sky, Below and on High,
Let the Water be blessed and the Fire be hallowed.

- Make an offering to all the beings of your Shrine, perhaps saying:

Gods and Dead and Mighty Sidhe
Allies all, upon my Shrine
Offering I make to ye
And ask now that your aid be mine

Now state your intention in clear and direct words, speaking to the spirits and the Shrine as persons, telling them the intention for which the flame is kindled. If you wish you might intone a proper conjuring word, draw a sigil over the candle, etc.

- With the candle ready upon your Shrine, find your peace and your power, and balance the Two Powers in yourself.
- Hold your left hand cupped before you and drip a few drops of water from the Well into your palm. Draw the Underworld Power strongly into that hand.
- Take up the candle and place it in the left hand, setting it in the drops of water.
- Draw the Sky Power into your right hand, and take a light from the Fire. Kindle the candle, saying:

Out of the Deep I draw a light
Fire on Water brightly shine.
I claim my will, by magic's might
And set this flame upon my Shrine
Set the candle in place, and say:
Hear my voice as I do call
As this boon I ask of ye
Bless and aid me, spirits all
And as I will, so let it be!

- Contemplate the candle in its place for time, and then conclude with a short final charm:

The blessings of the Holy Ones be on me and mine
My blessings on all beings, with peace on thee and thine
The Fire, the Well, the Sacred Tree
Flow and Flame and Grow in me

Thus do I remember the work of the Wise.
