Cottage Witchery Natural Magick For Hearth And Home

Cottage Witchery Natural Magick For Hearth And Home Cover

Book: Cottage Witchery Natural Magick For Hearth And Home by Ellen Dugan

Mrs. Dugan reprises with another absolutely fantastic book dealing with the elements of natural witchcraft and its connections to the hearth and home. Practical and amazingly easy to read and retain information from, Mrs. Dugan takes the reader on a fantastic journey through the parts of your own home that seem to lack a magickal mystery, and insures her readers that the home is one, if not the best place to practice witchcraft. Jam packed with useful information, hearth magick seems less of an abstract idea and more of an accessible entity, completely surrounding you.

According to Dugan, a witch's cottage can take any shape, from a city apartment to a house in the suburbs. A self-described "Garden Witch" and psychic-clairvoyant, Dugan offers a Martha Stewart–like guide for setting up a magickal home, helping readers to "reconnect to the energies of the natural world," and "direct these magickal forces into [their] homes and everyday lives." A follow-up to Garden Witchery, this guide will appeal to a broad audience, from the serious witch hoping to align each room with magickal principles, to the interested dabbler looking for ways to draw magick into the kitchen or the newbie seeking an alternative kind of feng shui. Included are a range of interesting spells for "removing bad vibes," warding off unwanted guests and buying and selling a home, as well as a household journal with blessings for various rooms of the home, and a helpful glossary of terms. Dugan is at her best when explaining concepts like the history of different Goddesses and categorizing elements like the magickal qualities of houseplants, yet her tendency to converse directly with the reader can be off-putting, as are her frequent personal tangents. Though Dugan claims often that this is a guide for any style of home in any location, it will be most useful to readers with easy access to nature.

As to her style, Ellen connects with her readers and steers clear of the "bow-down-to-my-almighty-knowledge" attitude that some writers stick close to when writing a book on the subject of Wicca. With ease and expertise, Mrs. Dugan writes what's in her own clever heart, but fully delivers the vast amounts of info one would deem necessary to have in order to practice this wonderful, natural craft, the Craft of the hearth and of the home. Does it really sound as if Mrs. Dugan is speaking to her readers in a tone one would use with a two year old? Personally, I don't see a hint of that. After reading book after book after book, the titles, the authors and the information, for me, seem to bleed together and become indistinguishable in a muddled, wordy mess. Ellen Dugan stands out among the rest who have attempted to write on this difficult and vast subject and fully utilizes the humor and wit she is know for.

Ellen Dugan, the author of Garden Witchery, is the ideal guide to show us how to bring the beauty of nature and its magickal energies indoors. Using common household and outdoor items-such as herbs, spices, dried flowers, plants, stones, and candles-she offers a down-to-earth approach to creating an enchanted home.

From specialized spells and charms to kitchen conjuring and color magick, this hands-on guide teaches Witches of all levels how to strengthen a home's aura and energy. Readers will learn how to use begonias and lilacs for protection, dispel bad vibes with salt and lemon, perform tea leaf readings, bless the home with fruit, invite the help of home faeries, perform houseplant magick, and create a loving home for the whole family.

Your Magical Name

Your Magical Name Cover Why a Magical Name?:
Ah, the magical name. So many people find wicca and decide right off the bat that they’re going to name themselves Lady Such-and-Such or Lord Whatsis. Go to a pagan event and you’ll meet more fifteen-year-old Lady Morganas than you can shake a stick at. And it’s virtually guaranteed that within about three months, Lady Morgana will decide her magical name, sometimes called a craft name, is really supposed to be Starfluffle or Moongypsy, and she’ll change it.

In fact, she’ll probably change it two to three times a year.

The Name-of-the-Month Club:
This odd phenomenon, known as the Name-of-the-Month Syndrome, happens most often because the person in question hasn’t taken the time to research and learn, which is crucial to finding the right magical name.

A magical name is unique to the practitioner, and there are several ways to find yours. When you find the right name, you’ll keep it for a long time. In some traditions, it‘s customary to wait until you‘ve studied a year and a day before claiming your magical name. Some Pagans have two magical names -- one which they use in public and one which is known only to the gods and members of the person’s coven.

Think Long-Range:
One method by which people sometimes find their magical name is to simply choose something they like. A problem with this method is that what we like on one day, we may find silly a year down the road. If you’re going to choose a name based on whether it sounds cool or not, stop and think about it. What is it about the name that appeals to you? Ten years from now, are still going to feel comfortable saying, “Hi, I‘m Fairypuddle,” when you meet a new person?

Names with Meaning:
Choose a name not only for its sound, but its attributes as well. For example, someone wishing to convey strength in their name might include “oak“ or “iron“ as part of their moniker. A person who is highly creative might select a name that reflects their art or craft. You may want to choose a name based rooted in folklore or mythology. Many people include the name of an animal that resonates with them. A cautionary note here: in the Pagan community, certain animals pop up all the time. You’ll meet two dozen Ravens and just as many Cats, but it’s unlikely you’ll encounter anyone calling himself Wombat or Penguin.

Names to Avoid:
Another bit of advice -- generally, the titles Lord and Lady are reserved for people who are elders or have a significant amount of leadership experience under their belt. To name oneself Lady So-and-So without any credentials is considered presumptuous by many Pagans. Likewise, in many traditions it’s seen as hubris to give oneself the name of a deity. You may want to choose a name that indicates your dedication to a god or goddess, but don’t co-opt their names. It’s just rude. If you're a dedicant to Apollo, don't call yourself Master Apollo, call yourself something like Apollonius instead.

Using Your Birth Number:
Another popular method of finding a magical name is to choose one that corresponds with your birth number. To find your birth number, begin by adding the digits of your birth date.

If your birthday was September 1, 1966, you would start with the numbers 911966 = 9 + 1 + 1 + 9 + 6 + 6 = 32.

Now take those two numbers (3 and 2), and bring it down to a single digit: 3 + 2 = 5. That number -- in this case, 5 -- is your birth number.

Use the grid below to find a name that corresponds to the number 5, by calculating the sum of the corresponding letters.

1 = A, J, S

2 = B, K, T

3 = C, L, U

4 = D, M, V

5 = E, N, W

6 = F, O, X

7 = G, P, Y

8 = H, Q, Z

9 = I, R

Let’s say you’ve decide you like the name Willow. Using the letters in “Willow” you would take the numbers 5 + 9 + 3 + 3 + 6 + 5 = 32. From there, 3 + 2 = 5. If the name you like doesn’t match your birth numbers, try some creative or alternate spellings to see what happens.

A Gift from the Gods:
In some cases, you may be fortunate enough to have your new name bestowed upon you by a god or goddess. In these instances, you may encounter someone in a dream or a vision who tells you, “Your name is Such-and-such.” While you may choose to add to it or come up with a variation on it later, if this happens to you, accept the name as the gift that it is.

Whatever method you end up using, think carefully before you finalize your new name. While it’s okay to change your name later on as you evolve spiritually, changing your name every few weeks or every time you see a new episode of “Charmed” is probably not the best course of action. Find the name that is right for you -- and when it IS the right one, you will know.

Will I Go To Hell If I Cast Spells

Will I Go To Hell If I Cast Spells Cover Question: Will I Go To Hell If I Cast Spells?

I'm not wiccan yet but I've been reading about it. I have to admit I'm a little nervous about casting spells and reading Tarot cards. I was raised Christian, and there's a part of me that wonders if maybe I'll end up in Hell for practicing witchcraft. What do I do?

Answer:

This is a tricky question, because wiccans and Pagans don't believe in the Christian concept of Hell. Not only that, most of us accept magic as part of our daily life. For someone who is a practicing Wiccan or Pagan, there's not really a concern about this sort of thing -- the fate of our immortal soul is not rooted in the use of magic. Instead, we take responsibility for our actions, and accept that the universe gives back what we put into it. In other words, for most Wiccans, magic in itself is not "evil", but practicing negative or harmful magic can certainly get us in a bit of Karmic hot water.

However, we also understand that not every spiritual path agrees with this philosophy. If you belong to a religion that does have injunctions against magic and witchcraft, and you are concerned about the state of your soul as a result of magical practices, you should speak to your pastor or minister about these issues. Ultimately, you are the only one who can determine whether a magical life is right for you or not.

Power Animals Totem Animals And Spirit Animals

Power Animals Totem Animals And Spirit Animals Cover The use of a totem animal is not part of traditional wiccan practice. However, as wicca and other modern pagan practices evolve and blend together, many people who follow non-mainstream spiritual paths find themselves working with a mix of many different belief systems. Because of this, someone following a Native American or Indo-European shamanic path might find themselves working with totem animals. While totem animals or power animals have nothing to do with the Wiccan religion, some people do incorporate them into non-Wiccan shamanic practices.

It should be pointed out that sometimes, the use of totem animals and other Native American practices is sometimes seen as cultural appropriation when it's done by non-Native American individuals. Some European shamanic systems do connect with animal spirits, but the use of the specific word "totem" implies a Native American connection. It has a very specific, anthropological meaning, and chances are that if you have made a spiritual connection with an animal entity, it does not qualify as a true "totem." Be cautious what you call your beliefs, because you may find yourself taking ownership of a heritage that's not actually yours to claim. If you're not Native American, but are practicing some other form of shamanism, you may want to consider using the term "power animal" or even "spirit animal" instead.

A power animal is a spiritual guardian that some people connect with. However, much like other spiritual entities, there's no rule or guideline that says you must have one. If you happen to connect with an animal entity while meditating or performing astral travel, then that may be your power animal… or it may just be curious about what you're up to. Our Guide to Healing, Phylameana lila Desy, has a great piece on different types of animal totems and what they mean: Animal Totems.

Unfortunately, as often is seen in the Pagan community, many times the connection to a power animal is simply the result of wishful thinking. When someone tells you they have a spirit animal, they'll almost always tell you it's the bear, the eagle, or the wolf. Why? Because these are animals that exemplify the characteristics we'd really like to see in ourselves -- we want to be strong and formidable like Bear, independent and mysterious like Wolf, or all-seeing like Eagle. No one will every tell you their "totem animal" is the wombat, the hedgehog, or the three-toed sloth.

There are a number of books available that discuss the spiritual nature of animals. Nearly all will tell you to "choose" your spirit animal based upon which animals you want to see first at the zoo or which ones you just find really interesting. Generally, in true shamanic practice, one meets their power animal through meditation or a vision quest. Often, it's an animal you never expected to encounter. If you are fortunate enough to have this take place, do some research on the animal you've connected with, and find out why that particular creature has attached itself to you. Animals have different symbolism in different cultures and societies. Take the time to do some research, and you may end up learning something new about yourself.

Magic Candle And Pentagramm Spell

Magic Candle And Pentagramm Spell Cover Candles properly charged with psychic energy can weave spells of attraction. There is a simple spell you can use to generate bursts of desire. The effects are not very long lasting; nevertheless, you can use it for your own entertainment.
The procedure calls for a simple pink candle, a little bit of kerosene and a lighter. Hold the candle to your forehead and imagine your body absorbing tremendous red-tinged energy from the earth. Feel the energy flood up your legs, torso, arms and head. As you do so, channel the energy into the candle. Compel yourself to believe that the candle is your prospect's vagina (if she is a girl) or his penis (if he is a guy). You are infusing the candle with a psychic link. Start to imagine that the candle acquires human qualities of softness and fleshy sensations. Grasp the candle tightly and believe within yourself that it has wholly and totally transformed into her genitals. You must KNOW it is her genitals.
Open your eyes and reverently breathe upon the candle, sprinkle its wick with kerosene. Close your eyes again and KNOW that you are about to cause your prospect to explode into orgasm.
Open your eyes and light the candle. As the wick flares up, picture your prospect throb in excitement for just 3 seconds, then BANISH all thoughts from your mind. Throw away the candle and think no more of the session. You have released tremendous energy which cause her to get strongly attracted to you.
Now is the perfect time to reach the telephone.

Pentagram Spell ™
Creating reality from thoughts can be a tall order, but if you infuse enough ki energy into it, it will happen.
There is a technique, called the Pentagram Spell that draws on tremendous amounts of chi over a span of 1 month, and if done right, it will grant you a wish. You will discover the success rate of this system to exceed your expectations.

Pentagram Spell - To create reality from thought, using energy
First know exactly WHAT you want. Create a *sentence of desire*, a very specific sentence of your wish detailing who, what, where, when, and why.
*For instance, "I wish for $1M, tax free, delivered TO ME with no strings attached on May 15,2001"*
That is your wish, and now, we will translate that into symbols that will draw contiuous (ki/chi/pranic) energy for one month. Remember, without energy, nothing can occur. Your car can't run. The oven won't burn. Your magick will not work.
You will now get a large piece of paper and draw a 5 pointed star on it. At the top of the star draw a symbol for "I". The top of the star symbolizes WHO gets the wish. It can also symbolize who or what is the target of your magic influence.

Go clockwise. At the next point is the "what" section." What exactly are you wishing for. Since you are wishing for $1M tax free, you can draw a dollar bill with broken chains to symbolize money with no catches. In psionic language, the “what” section is the trend, or the instruction given to a spell. This is what you want to happen!
At the the next point, is the "where" section. Draw a symbol of your house because you want the money delivered to your home. The where section dictates where the ki energy should create the
reality you desire.
At the next point is the "when" section. Draw a calendar with the exact date when you want the event to occur. The when section is important because your energies will gather force to manifest your wish on this exact date.
At the last point of the star, is the “WHY" section. In symbols, write WHY you think you are deserving of this wish. You can reason that this wish will help you be of better service to your fellow man. In that case, draw a pillar supporting the world. Remember that entities other than ourselves exists. There are angels, demons and spirits. Should one be passing by and desirous to assist you, your rationale for casting the spell will determine its decision to help you.
Now that you have created your pentagram, stare at it and be fully aware of what each and every symbol mean. Post the drawing on a place that you will see everyday, very frequently. Now stare at it, and in full tones, repeat the statement of your desire three times, and as you do so, go over the symbols as you intone each word. After the third repetition, run out of the room and don't think of it any longer.
Now, each day, as you pass by the drawing (the more frequent, the better), drink in the symbols
with full intent and full meaning, understanding exactly what each one means. Each time you do this, you infuse your original intent with ki. This ki goes out into the world and acts to create reality out of your written thought.
After about a month, you will pass by the paper and you may discover a great repulsion from the paper. That means, that the paper is fully infused with power and ready to be finally released.
When you feel that moment has arrived, stand before your paper and intone three times again,
your statement of desire, and as you do so, look at each symbol and know what they mean. After
the third intonation, throw your arms in the air, yell loudly, and feel a great release of energy from the symbols and the drawing, surging into the environment and finally creating a reality out of your thoughts. At this point, the drawing will feel empty and devoid of energy. That is because all intent and ki had finally left and is now actively manipulating reality according to your plan.
Burn up the drawing and wait in full expectation for the result on the exact day of your bidding.
I've learned of this "magic spell" 10 years ago. I noticed a 100% effectiveness, from accelerating the growth of plants to fixing damaged friendships (for others), to healing diseaes, to creating attraction and receiving small, but tidy sums of income.

How To Learn A Voodoo Spell

How To Learn A Voodoo Spell Cover Voodoo is a faith that is a combination of Roman Catholicism and the tribal spiritualism of West Africa. When the slaves (primarily in Haiti) were taught Christianity, it blended with their own spiritualism and became what's known as voodoo. While a complicated faith to an outsider, voodoo can be learned and understood. Additionally, the inherent magic of voodoo can also be performed if a person learns it.

How to Learn Voodoo Magic

1. Step 1

Learn about voodoo as a religion and faith. Voodoo is a religion first and a form of magic second. One cannot practice the magic until they learn about the spirits, called the Loa, who grant this power and aid.

2. Step 2

Find an experienced teacher, if possible. Voodoo is like any other faith; you can read all the books that you want, but in the end you should speak with other practitioners about it to learn from their experience.

3. Step 3

Design a ritual. Voodoo, like any other faith, is symbolic. However, that doesn't mean that voodoo spells are created like a recipe. There isn't a "speak these words, perform this action" sort of formula to voodoo magic. Rituals represent a spell, and they should be unique to each person. For instance, a love spell could call out to a certain Loa for help, and while you speak a poem that you wrote yourself, you could light red candles to represent love and power. You could also keep a photograph of the person you love on the altar as you ask for the Loa's help. Each "spell" should be unique, and crafted to the needs of the caster and the unique situation they need help in.

Tips & Warnings

* Be realistic in your expectations. Voodoo won't be a quick fix to your problems if you aren't willing to solve them from a spiritual and a reality-based perspective.
* Avoid internet sites or mass media books that claim they can teach "voodoo spells" that will make you rich, powerful and attractive. At best these spells are fluff, and at worst they could make you seem like an unbeliever, ruining your chances of getting actual help.

How To Cast A Evil Voodoo Spell

How To Cast A Evil Voodoo Spell Cover While magic seems trivial or even silly to most people, it isn't. Magic pervades in our everyday lives. If you have ever witnessed a strange event or experienced a strange sensation for which you have no explanation or wanted something so badly that you willed it to happen, these are magic experiences.The exciting part is that it can be controlled and used to your advantage.

While there is white and black magic, it is the black magic---sometimes termed as evil magic or voodoo---that allows us to cast spells that have almost immediate results. White magic is fine and likely more healthy for you, but there is no doubt that there is a certain allure to being able to cast an evil voodoo spell. Not only is the involvement in black magic fun, but it can help you acquire some of the things in life that you need right now.

With the economy in shambles and so many people down on their luck, it's a wonder that more people aren't exploring the use of magic to help affect their lives. While it is a challenge, casting an evil spell can be done and you can learn exactly how to do it.

Instructions:

1. Step 1

Choose your evil voodoo spell. There are several resources on the Web to choose the exact spell you want to use. The website Arcane-archive (see Resources below) is a great place to get a list of evil voodoo spells and the exact instructions on how to cast them. You'll need candles, a doll or even some blood. For the sake of this article we will use the "Death" spell.

2. Step 2

Gather a possession of the victim. Most evil voodoo spells also require something of the person on whom you are casting the spell. This can be in the form of a hair clipping, an article of clothing or something that will not be missed by the victim.

3. Step 3

Find a quiet place to do the ritual, preferably on a moonlit night. You will need a black candle, some needles, chalk, some flammable liquid such as lighter fluid and a sharp knife.

4. Step 4

Cast from your magic circle. Almost all spells should be cast from the protection of a magic circle. A protective Magic Circle can be drawn on the ground, in the sand, or even painted onto an article of fabric. Most protective magic circles are done in black and white, although colors can be used. In casting your evil spell, you will be calling forth many evil forces that could potentially harm you.

5. Step 5

Fashion a doll effigy of the victim using something flammable. Tissue paper works great.

6. Step 6

Light your black candle.

7. Step 7

Draw an image of the Satanic baphomet (an idol) on the ground in front of you. You can actually use any image you desire, such as a skull and crossbones. The more evil, the better!

8. Step 8

Place the doll effigy in the center of the image you just drew and invoke Abaddon the Destroyer. You should use something that you've written yourself for this invocation. The more personal the better. You should take a firm, strong tone. Be confident and state your reasons why Abaddon should help you. It is almost like a job interview where you want to succeed badly, and you will convince your potential employer in any way you can to help you.

9. Step 9

Direct all the rage and hatred you can muster into the doll effigy. You can even give it the finger, make gestures and speak to the effigy. After all, this is the person that has caused you so much pain in your life and it is time you told them what it's all about.

10. Step 10

Plunge your needles into the doll--first in the abdomen, then the head and finally the heart.

11. Step 11

Using the knife, cut the doll from head to groin, connecting the needles like dots.

12. Step 12

Place the doll effigy back into the image and set it ablaze, calling on the spirit of Abaddon to help you.

13. Step 13

Go have a beer. After all, you deserve it. You just set in motion the demise of your most hated enemy. While the curse might not take effect right away, the seed you have placed will take root and grow. And you probably feel much better after casting the spell.

Tips & Warnings

* You must always remember to be careful in casting an evil voodoo spell. When drawing upon the dark powers from beyond this world, you will be putting yourself at risk. These come in the form of evil spirits that you are trying to control to do your bidding. If you cast your spell incorrectly, you are opening yourself up to potential dangers and ill luck. Whatever your reasons for wanting to cast an evil voodoo spell, always be careful and follow directions to the letter. Don't be lazy when it comes to the details. Casting an evil voodoo spell can be fun, but don't let your ego get the best of you. While you can certainly be a force in this world, you are nothing compared to the forces of the netherworld.

Hoodoo Gurus And Hoodoo Spells

Hoodoo Gurus And Hoodoo Spells Cover As can be expected, most practitioners of hoodoo are African American, but Whites and Native Americans also use hoodoo, although their practices share commonalities more with Pennsylvania Dutch pow-wow magic, rather than with its more potent practices in West Africa. In its home of Africa, Hoodoo (Hudu) is a well respected tradition, which is typically passed through old family priestly lines. Today, in America, traditional folk knowledge is passed from person to person; and there is no evidence of a structured hierarchy.

The goal of hoodoo is to allow people access to supernatural forces to improve their daily lives by gaining power in many areas of life, including gambling, love, divination, cursing one's enemies, treatment of disease, employment, and necromancy. As in many other folk religious, magical, and medical practices, extensive use is made of herbs, minerals, parts of animals' bodies, an individual's possessions, and bodily fluids, especially menstrual blood, urine and semen. Contact with ancestors or other spirits of the dead is an important practice within the conjure tradition, and the recitation of Psalms from the Bible is also considered magically effective in hoodoo. Due to hoodoo's great emphasis on an individual's magical power, its basic principles of working are easily adapted for use based on one's desires, inclination and habits.

Home-made potions and charms form the basis of much old-time rural hoodoo, but there are also many successful commercial companies selling various hoodoo components to urban and rural practitioners. These are generally called spiritual supplies, and they include herbs, roots, minerals, candles, incense, oils, floor washes, sachet powders, bath crystals, and colognes. Many patent medicines, cosmetics, and household cleaning supplies have been also aimed at hoodoo practitioners and have found dual usage as conventional and spiritual remedies.

How To Do White Magic Spells

How To Do White Magic Spells Cover While magic in and of itself is neither good nor bad, the intent of the spell caster is described in terms of color. Black magic is used to injure or destroy, while white magic is used only for the purpose of good. white magic spells are cast to heal and help both yourself and others. When cast correctly, they bring light into the world in an uplifting manner. Creating and casting White Magic Spells will focus your thoughts and intentions as you send your energy out into the universe. There are as many ways to generate magic as there are people who practice it, but some basic guidelines can provide a general framework for creating your own ritual to do White Magic spells.

Instructions

1.Create a sacred space. Find a location in which you feel relaxed and peaceful. Set out a small table and cover it with a white cloth. This will serve as your altar for spell casting. The color of the cloth can be changed according to the spell being cast: For love, it should be pink or red; for money, it should be green; and for success, it should be yellow. White stands for protection and peace and is a good general color.
2.Decide what your intention is. What do you want to accomplish? Be as specific as possible. It is better to say, "I want clear skin and healthy hair", than it is to say, "I want to look better." Remember, this is white magic, and your purpose should be for the good of someone else or yourself. Remove any trace of negativity from your thought process.
3.Find your tools. Light candles in the appropriate color for the purpose of your spell. Choose herbs, crystal, incense or essential oils to help invoke the proper spirits and focus energies. For example, lavender, vanilla and honeysuckle are used in love spells, while alfalfa and cloves are used in friendship spells. A common tool is the ritual dagger, or athame. The athame is used to cast the ritual circle, and is never actually used to cut anything.
4.Write the spell. Name it according to what it should do (and yes, it needs to rhyme). When you are finished, keep it private, as this keeps the energy focused and does not allow any negativity to influence your work. The spell can be as long or as short as you like. If you're having trouble, borrow an established spell. (See Resources.)
5.Decide when to cast your spell. Many people like to cast spells when there is a full moon, because that is when there is the most energy available to work with. However, this is not always convenient. You can cast a spell at any time; however, for it to be as effective as a full-moon spell, you may have to cast it more than once.
6.Cast the circle. The space you are using to cast your spell should be cleaned and sprinkled with salt ater prior to use. Once this is done, use your athame, wand or finger to draw a large circle around you--approximately 9 feet in diameter. If you like, you can define the outline of the circle with candles or stones.
7.Invoke the four elements. Begin by facing East and asking Air to join you in your spell casting and watch over you while you work. Then turn South and ask the same favor from Fire. Face West and ask for the help of Water. Finally, turn to the North and call upon Earth.
8.Light a candle and ask any spirits or deities who seem particularly suitable to your cause to join you. Then thank them for protecting you, guiding your energy and adding their own energy to your spell.
9.Chant your spell and perform whatever rituals you feel will strengthen it. Be sure to end your spell with "so mote it be," as this closes the spell. Ask the universe to hear you and to turn your wishes into reality. Describe your desires in great detail. Thank the universe for listening to you. Offer some token of gratitude.
10.Face North and say, "Spirit of the Earth, my ritual is now complete. I bid you farewell." Repeat while turning counterclockwise moving from North to West, to South, to East, bidding the elements farewell.
11.Blow out the candle. Bow your head before your altar and say, "I declare this circle closed. So mote it be." Complete the closing by ringing a bell.
