To Bring Certain Influences To Your Life

To Bring Certain Influences To Your Life Cover To Bring Certain Influences Into Your Life

In a plot of prepared land, or in a medium sized flowerpot, sow the seeds of an
appropriate plant in the form of a symbol or rune representative of your need.
Tend to the plants. After they sprout, draw a circle around them in the earth or
soil with your power hand. Stand in quiet contemplation of the growing, living
symbol. As it has sprung into existence, so shall your need. You may want to
look in a magical herbal book for the magical influences of certain herbs.

The Book Of Shadows The Unofficial Charmed Companion

The Book Of Shadows The Unofficial Charmed Companion Cover

Book: The Book Of Shadows The Unofficial Charmed Companion by Ngaire Genge

The ultimate guide to the hit program Charmed, this is both a book of spells and a key to the mysteries of the show. The book of shadows celebrates the best of Charmed, from its roots in the ancient tradition of Wicca to insider information on the show's stars. N.E. Genge not only provides fascinating background details for the show's Wiccan elements, but also guides readers in performing their own magic. Fans with a witchy bent will learn about the tools of magic and divination and the casting of spells. Recipes and rituals -- from those that beckon love or bless a new business venture to those that bequeath strength or bestow fortune -- are all included. The Book of Shadows is a sassy celebration of witches, sisterhood, and magic.

This book has not been prepared, approved, licensed, endorsed, or in any way authorized by any entity that created or produced Charmed. Charmed is a fun show and remarkably unobjectionable to wiccans and other followers of alternative spiritual paths. The secret seems to be that no matter how much nonsense there is in it, it is true to the spirit and never harms. This book does a great job of distinguishing authentic traditions from the TV made-up stuff, and can introduce a novice (who might think "witchcraft" and "magic" look pretty cool, from watching the show, and wants an easy how-to guide) to the true traditions underlying the show - without giving too much away, either. After all, if you want real magic, you have to do it yourself, every step of the way, and you can't get that from a book; but the book is surprisingly good at conveying that concept. At the same time, for those who just want to know more about the show, this isn't an authorized book, but it has enough details from the show in it to satisfy most fans. Good job! If you just watch the show for the heck of it. this will enlighten you to the reality of wicca, which is something i wish i could do more, either way, wiccan or not, there is stuff about charmed all the way through, and you'll learn a lot about the most controversial part of the fastest growing religion in america also, magick. Definetly reccomended.

Weight Loss Spells

Weight Loss Spells Cover This is a very simple weight loss spell, which I wrote in 1990 and have used over the years as an aid to diet and exercise. Remember that magick never relieves you of your responsibility to continue to do all you can on the physical plane to achieve your goals. If you think you are a powerful enough witch that you can just light a candle to take the weight off while you continue to eat chocolate ice cream for desert every night, then I really want to meet you!

Simple Weight Loss Spell

Timimg: Waning Moon (start just after Full Moon)

Preparation: Using an athame (or another sharp item that you have ritually blessed) mark a black candle into 14 equal parts (13 rings). Mark each section with number fives (5).

On the night after the Full Moon, burn the candle down to the first mark while meditating, and chanting the following:

"As this candle burns, so my fat burns.
As this candle decreases, so my weight decreases.
I have complete control over my weight.
My body is truly perfect in every way.
I now weigh a perfect __(insert desired goal)___ pounds.
Every day I am slimmer and healthier.
I am as perfect as the Goddess within me.
Thank you, Goddess, for your help.
This is my will, so mote it be."

Do this nightly, burning the candle down to the next mark, until the night of the New Moon, when the candle should be allowed to burn out. It is also helpful to picture your body's fat cells burning off and to feel your increased metabolism and energy. Your body may feel warm and tingly. As the candle goes down, so your weight goes down. You will lose 5-10 pounds over the two weeks. This spell can be done every month, or as needed.

Points to Remember:
This is the affirmation that I wrote for myself, you are free to change it in any way to suit yourself. Rhyming works well, but I wrote this before I was very good at rhyming everything, and I have continued to use it in the original form simply because I like it that way. Always bear in mind that you must see yourself as having already accomplished your goal in the present moment. Also remember that you need to keep wording things as positive, your subconcious mind really hates to "lose" anything. The word "Goddess" can be substituted for whatever God or Goddess you are working with on this, but I would definitely ask for Divine help.

Another Weight Loss Spell

Stand in front of a mirror and put your hands on your stomach. Chant these words with feeling:

Godess hear my plead,
Make me the weight I want to heed,
This size is to big for me,
A size (size you want to be) I want to be,
So Mote It Be

Once you do this you will feel a funny feeling in your stomach and your cloths will be to big (or if there to small for you the right size) for 6-7 hours

This is tested and works really well as me and my friends have tried this and it is really good. Thats why we put it in my B.O.S (Book of Shadows).

Should You Pay For Spellcasting Services

Should You Pay For Spellcasting Services Cover There are a thousand people on the Internet who will offer to cast a spell for you. All you have to do is pony up a few bucks on your major credit card or via your Paypal account, and voila, they’ll going to make your lover come home, find your lost dog, get you a better job, and make you win the lottery. After all, that’s what the ad said.

Right?

The problem with these services is not whether or not they are competent spellcasters, but are they honest business people? Often, it's very easy to get sucked into spending $29.95 on a spell -- after all, it comes with a "money-back guarantee" if you're not happy with your results. And it keeps you from having to learn all that stuff yourself, yes?

The thing is, there's no proof that the person on the other end of that credit card reader is a person of integrity. You have no way of knowing if they cast a spell for you or not. Heck, they may not even be qualified to cast a spell, but because there is no way of checking, all you have to go on is how many bells and whistles they have on their website.

And the kicker is, when the spell doesn't manifest, one of two things will happen. One, you'll complain to them and ask for your money back -- at which point they'll tell you either that it needs a little bit longer to work, or that some kind of weird karmic anomaly is in effect, which they can fix for you, but it will cost you a little bit more to rid you of bad energy. The second option is that you'll just be too damn embarrassed to complain, because you'll realize you've been hornswoggled.

Now, that's not to say that the people running these sites are all dishonest. There are many well-meaning people out there who really will do what they get paid to do. But you don't know which ones they are.

A better option would be, if you've really decided that magic can help you with your dilemma, to get a few good books from the library and do some reading, and check out some reputable sites like Cantrap or Lucky Mojo for some ideas on magical theory as well as some simple spells that you can try on your own.

It's one thing if you're buying a product on E-bay, where you have some recourse if the person fails to live up to their end of the bargain. The bottom line is that when you rely on total strangers on the internet, all you can do is hope that they are as honest as you are trusting. Why not spend that $29.95 on a couple of really good books instead, and make your own magic?

How To Cast Money Spell

Cast this spell on a Wednesday.
You will need:
One large cluster of Amethyst
One piece of Aventurine
One green ribbon
One red ribbon
Small amount of rice
You can perform this spell at any time of the day.
Start at the right side of your entrance doorway.
Working in a Deosil (clockwise direction), walk around your work place hold the Amethyst and the Aventurine in your right hand, with your left hand leave a few grains of rice on each window ledge (the rice symbolises new growth)., As you walk think of how you want your business to expand.
When you arrive back at the point you started from repeat the Angel Invocation:
Archangel Raphael I invoke you to bless my work
Business prosper
Business grow
Secure and successful
My dealings to flow
So Mote It Be
Thank the Archangel for helping you.
Tie the green ribbon to your telephone to ensure orders flow in and lines of communication are kept busy. Tie the red ribbon to your order book or cashbook this will ground your money and ease cash flow problems.
Place the Amethyst on your desk or workstation or near any equipment you use to earn your living. The Amethyst will aid your concentration and help you to put new ideas into practise. It will also help you to remain calm under pressure and alleviate stress.
Keep the Aventurine in your purse or wallet to ensure financial security.

Also I found another simple spell to work best if you needed a specific amount of money.

You can use either a green or a gold candle for this, the choice is up to you. Also needed is a piece of parchment, a pen with green ink, and a fireproof container. Some cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg incense should be burning…don’t worry it smells amazing.

Write down the amount that you need in green ink. Now, either draw a green box around it, or as I did, start tracing little swirls with the pen…like when you’re doodling. Keep moving the pen in little circles around and around the amount…it will become hypnotic after awhile. This is a good thing.

While drawing, chant something like:

Money for this bill I need,
Nothing more I have no greed.

Keep chanting and doodling until you feel like you’ve established some sort of connection, this is usually when you’ve put yourself in a sort of trance. It’s all good, don’t be afraid if you feel your body “humming”. When you’re ready, take the paper and light it from the candle, drop it into the container and wait till it stops.

Then take the ashes outside and cast them into the air saying:

This is my will So Mote it Be!

Within a week you should have results, if not, repeat once a week until results happen. Good magick takes time and practice.

How To Learn A Voodoo Spell

How To Learn A Voodoo Spell Cover Voodoo is a faith that is a combination of Roman Catholicism and the tribal spiritualism of West Africa. When the slaves (primarily in Haiti) were taught Christianity, it blended with their own spiritualism and became what's known as voodoo. While a complicated faith to an outsider, voodoo can be learned and understood. Additionally, the inherent magic of voodoo can also be performed if a person learns it.

How to Learn Voodoo Magic

1. Step 1

Learn about voodoo as a religion and faith. Voodoo is a religion first and a form of magic second. One cannot practice the magic until they learn about the spirits, called the Loa, who grant this power and aid.

2. Step 2

Find an experienced teacher, if possible. Voodoo is like any other faith; you can read all the books that you want, but in the end you should speak with other practitioners about it to learn from their experience.

3. Step 3

Design a ritual. Voodoo, like any other faith, is symbolic. However, that doesn't mean that voodoo spells are created like a recipe. There isn't a "speak these words, perform this action" sort of formula to voodoo magic. Rituals represent a spell, and they should be unique to each person. For instance, a love spell could call out to a certain Loa for help, and while you speak a poem that you wrote yourself, you could light red candles to represent love and power. You could also keep a photograph of the person you love on the altar as you ask for the Loa's help. Each "spell" should be unique, and crafted to the needs of the caster and the unique situation they need help in.

Tips & Warnings

* Be realistic in your expectations. Voodoo won't be a quick fix to your problems if you aren't willing to solve them from a spiritual and a reality-based perspective.
* Avoid internet sites or mass media books that claim they can teach "voodoo spells" that will make you rich, powerful and attractive. At best these spells are fluff, and at worst they could make you seem like an unbeliever, ruining your chances of getting actual help.

How To Cast A Voodoo Spell

How To Cast A Voodoo Spell Cover Casting a voodoo spell is associated with dark magic in popular culture. Followers of voodoo, however, frown on most forms of magic. They believe that a body that lives in harmony with the lwa (spirits) does not require magic to balance its existence. For those that do practice magic or charms, they must never practice selfish magic or spells. When ougans (priests) and mambos (medicine men) use magic, it is protective in nature.

Instructions:

1. Step 1

Consult an ougan or mambo prior to performing a voodoo ritual yourself (see Resource section below). Devotees of voodoo do not perform magical rites or spells without the guidance of a strong ougan who has taken an oath to do no harm.

2. Step 2

Choose the lwa (spirit) for the charm. A typical voodoo spell or charm protects from harm or evil. The charm may be inscribed on a person (via tattoo) or on an object that is dedicated and blessed by the ougan.

3. Step 3

Dress in red. The ougan will dress in red and sacrifice a rooster or a chicken to summon the lwa for the protective charm. Be aware that ritualistic animal sacrifice is illegal in most states unless it is part of an organized religion and recognized as such.

4. Step 4

Carve the symbol of the lwa onto the object for the charm. The ougan may also tattoo or paint the symbol on the person receiving the charm.

5. Step 5

Use herbs to cleanse the wound or tattoo (see Resources section below). The types of herbs used are often at the discretion of the ougan or mambo who should be well-versed in herb-lore. Some herbal concoctions can be purchased through designated voodoo shops for ritual purification. Certain initiation ceremonies require the ritualistic marking of members with identifying marks.

Tips & Warnings

* Beware of fake voodoo practitioners on the Internet. Do not perform voodoo charms or magic unsupervised. Voodoo is a religion and should be respected.

Hoodoo Gurus And Hoodoo Spells

Hoodoo Gurus And Hoodoo Spells Cover As can be expected, most practitioners of hoodoo are African American, but Whites and Native Americans also use hoodoo, although their practices share commonalities more with Pennsylvania Dutch pow-wow magic, rather than with its more potent practices in West Africa. In its home of Africa, Hoodoo (Hudu) is a well respected tradition, which is typically passed through old family priestly lines. Today, in America, traditional folk knowledge is passed from person to person; and there is no evidence of a structured hierarchy.

The goal of hoodoo is to allow people access to supernatural forces to improve their daily lives by gaining power in many areas of life, including gambling, love, divination, cursing one's enemies, treatment of disease, employment, and necromancy. As in many other folk religious, magical, and medical practices, extensive use is made of herbs, minerals, parts of animals' bodies, an individual's possessions, and bodily fluids, especially menstrual blood, urine and semen. Contact with ancestors or other spirits of the dead is an important practice within the conjure tradition, and the recitation of Psalms from the Bible is also considered magically effective in hoodoo. Due to hoodoo's great emphasis on an individual's magical power, its basic principles of working are easily adapted for use based on one's desires, inclination and habits.

Home-made potions and charms form the basis of much old-time rural hoodoo, but there are also many successful commercial companies selling various hoodoo components to urban and rural practitioners. These are generally called spiritual supplies, and they include herbs, roots, minerals, candles, incense, oils, floor washes, sachet powders, bath crystals, and colognes. Many patent medicines, cosmetics, and household cleaning supplies have been also aimed at hoodoo practitioners and have found dual usage as conventional and spiritual remedies.

Levitation

Levitation Cover Levitation is a phenomenon of psychokinesis (PK) in which objects, people, and animals are lifted into the air without any visibly physical means and float or fly about. The phenomenon has been said to have occurred in mediumship, shamanism, trances, mystical rapture, and demonic possession. Some cases of levitation appear to be spontaneous, while spiritual or magical adepts are said to be able to control it consciously.

There seems to be several general characteristics about levitation. The duration of the phenomenon may last from a few minutes to hours. Generally it requires a great amount of concentration or being in a state of trance. Physical mediums who have been touched during levitation usually fall back to a surface. Levitations of saints usually are accompanied by a luminous glow around the body.

Numerous incidents of levitation have been recorded in Christianity and Islam. Among the first was Simon Magus in the first century. Other incidents reported among the Roman Catholic saints include the incident of Joseph of Cupertino (1603-1663), the most famous, who is said to have often levitated through the air. It is reported he often gave a little shriek just before levitating, and on one occasion levitated for as long as two hours.

Saint Teresa of Avila was another well known saint who reported levitating. She told of experiencing it during states of rapture. One eyewitness, Sister Anne of the Incarnation, said Saint Teresa levitated a foot and a half off the ground for about a half hour.

Saint Teresa wrote of one of her experiences: "It seemed to me, when I tried to make some resistance, as if a great force beneath my feet lifted me up. I know of nothing with which to compare it; but it was much more violent than other spiritual visitations, and I was therefore as one ground to pieces." (Evelyn Underhill "Mysticism," 1955)

Also Saint Teresa observed these levitations frightened her but there was nothing she could do to control them. She did not become unconscious, but saw herself being lifted up.

And, at the beginning of the twentieth century Gemma Galgani, a Passionist nun, reported levitating during rapture.

Incidents also have been reported in the religions of Hinduism and Buddhism. Milarepa, the great thirteenth century yogi of Tibet, is said to have possessed many occult powers such as the ability to walk, rest and sleep during levitating.

Such feats were said to be duplicated by the Brahmins and fakirs of India. Similar abilities were reportedly shared by the Ninja of Japan.

Within the Eastern traditions levitation is reportedly accomplished through such secret techniques of breathing and visualization. The techniques involve the employment of an universal life force and are called by various names such as: 'prana,''ch'i' and 'ki.'

Louis Jacolliot, a nineteenth-century French judge, traveled the East and wrote of his occult experiences. In "Occult Sciences in India and Among the Ancients" (1884, 1971) he describes the levitation of a fakir:

Taking an ironwood cane which I had brought from Ceylon, he leaned heavily upon it, resting his right hand upon the handle with his eyes fixed upon the ground. He the proceeded to utter the appropriate incantations...[and] rose gradually about two feet from the ground. His legs were crossed beneath him, and he made no change in his position, which was very like that of those bronze statues of Buddha...For more than twenty minutes I tried to see how (he) could thus fly in the face and eyes of all known laws of gravity...the stick gave him no visible support, and there was no apparent contact between that and his body, except through his right hand."

Jacolliot was further told by the Brahmins that the "supreme cause" of all phenomena was the 'agasa' ('akasha'), the vital fluid, "the moving thought of the universal soul, directing all souls," the force that the adepts learn to control.(See Akashic Records)

Throughout history the determining factor for judging whether the practice of levitation is caused by good or evil influenced seems to depend on the one doing the levitating. Simon Magus was judged evil while Saint Teresa was said to do it in states of rapture. During the Middle Ages and Renaissance levitation was thought to be a manifestation of evil. It was said to be an unusual phenomena generated by witchcraft, fairies, ghosts, or demons.

Even to the present levitation is often thought to be involved in cases of demonic possession. Many times beds, tables, chairs and other objects have been witnessed flying up into the air apparently by themselves. They frequently aimed themselves at the exorcist or his assistants.

In 1906 Clara Germana Cele, a sixteen year-old school girl from South Africa, was said to be demonic possessed. She raised up five feet in the air, sometimes vertically and sometimes horizontally. When sprinkled with holy water she came out of these states of possession. This was taken as proof of demonic possession.

Likewise, incidents of poltergeists and haunting often involve the levitation of objects.

Some physical mediums claimed to have experienced levitations. The most famous is Daniel Douglas Home, who reportedly did it over a forty-year period. In 1868 he was witnessed levitating out of a third-story window, and he floated back into the building through another window. When levitating Home was not always in a trance, but conscious and later described his feelings during the experiences.

Once he described "an electrical fulness (sic)" sensation in his feet. His arms became rigid and were drawn over his head, as though he was grasping an unseen power which was lifting him. He also levitated furniture and other objects.

The Catholic Church excommunicated Home as a sorcerer. Although he was never discovered to be a fraud like other mediums who used wires and other contraptions to levitate objects.

Italian medium Amedee Zuccarini was photographed levitating with his feet twenty feet off of a table.

Controlled experiments involving levitation are rare. During the 1960s and 1970s researchers reported some success in levitating tables under controlled conditions. The Soviet PK medium Nina Kulagina has been photographed levitating a small object between her hands.

Skeptics of levitation have came up with several theories as to its cause including hallucination, hypnosis, or fraud. These theories are not applicable to all incidents, however. The most likely and acceptable explanation is the Eastern theory of an existence of a force (simply, an universal force) which belongs to another, nonmaterial reality, and manifests itself in the material world.

The technique of "yogic flying" which consists of low hops while seated in the lotus meditating position has been achieved by advanced practitioners of Transcendental Meditation (TM). This has received worldwide publicity. The technique is claimed to be accomplished by maximizing coherence (orderliness) in brain-wave activity, which enables the brain to tap into the "unified field" of cosmic energy. However, skeptic say yogic flying is accomplished through muscular action. A.G.H.

How To Practice White Magic Spells

How To Practice White Magic Spells Cover White magic is a belief system that embodies good energy, health and healing. It's filled with everything black magic lacks: great karma, good spells, bountiful peace and a system of rituals and spells that promote tranquility and love. If you'd like to spread some harmony and healing during these stressful times, get mellow, practice kindness and spread love and good tidings among friends and family. Here's the best part: You can start practicing immediately since no license is required.

Instructions

1.Learn all you can about the various aspects of white magic. The practice can be layered in spellbinding language and may include charms and rituals, so devotees recommend devoting as much time to learning about it as you would any other life-changing practice.
2.Make white magic a regular part of your day. Adopt a male and/or a female spirit of your choosing and "consult" with them regularly during daily tasks to confer blessings--in the form of positive energy--into everything with which you come into contact. Build these internal reserves as you practice White Magic and you will be able to dispel negativity.
3.Invest in a beautiful journal and turn it into your Book of Shadows. This personal diary exists to accompany you as you use white magic to record and expand upon all of your experiences. As you explore the art of casting spells, use this journal to keep an accurate record of your spiritual growth.
4.Construct a mental bridge between your mind and nature. Practicing white magic is all about tying a ribbon around that relationship so you understand how closely the two are tied together. Good deeds like planting flowers, taking time to admire a sunset or picking fruit for those who have no food offers opportunities to understand how intertwined all of life can be.
5.Explore introspection and get in touch with the peace it brings when you reserve snippets of the day for meditation. Because white magic is focused upon bringing good energy into your life and the lives of those you love, quiet times offer opportunities for you to use your powers to comfort, enrich, enhance and better the lives of significant others.
6.Accept the fact that your greatest feats of magic will be those that come from your heart and soul. Conjuring a spell or creating a ritual can't affect the outcome of a situation unless you believe that your power is strong enough to make it so.
7.Never use white magic to manipulate, threaten or harm. Such actions have been known to backfire badly, turning white into Black Magic and cursing the practitioner for abusing the gift. Remember that there's a lot of common sense built into the practice of white magic. The Golden Rule may not have originated with early proponents, but this principle is implicit in the practice. Spells you send out will always come back to you.
8.Cast spells only after you have thoroughly examined your heart because once cast, a spell can't be rescinded. If you're considering a spell but you're not quite sure it's ready to be cast, revisit Step 5. Turning inward and meditating upon the magic you are about to make will always serve you well.

How To Perform Protection Spells

How To Perform Protection Spells Cover We all feel vulnerable at times. A protection spell can empower you. Whether it is the negative energies of others or fear for your property, you are not helpless. You can build a field of energy that will keep destructive forces away. Read on to learn how to perform protection spells.

Instructions

1.Identify your fears. The kind of protection you need will influence the spell you perform. Mentally destructive forces need to be handled differently from physical threats.

2.Describe the ownership history of your home, if that's what you want to protect. Pay attention to the feelings you get when you write about previous owners. The energies they have left behind could be what's making you feel uncomfortable.

3.Meditate on the person who is causing you grief if you are performing the spell for protection against someone. Write a letter addressing that person and explaining why you feel vulnerable.

4.Buy a black and white candle. Light it in a place in your home where you feel safe. Imagine a thick field of white energy surrounding you. Call up that protective field of energy when you feel threatened.

5.Pour hot water over a 1 tsp. of basil. Let it sit for half an hour. Run a warm bath and add the basil water. Relax and envision yourself moving through life confident and brave.

6.Eat more protein like chicken, beans, cheese and tofu when feeling vulnerable to help ground you. Spicy dishes with garlic, onions, black pepper and cayenne keep negative energies away. Eat while visualizing that you are protected from threatening forces.

7.Perform a simple protection spell for your home by burning sage in a censer. Walk through every room in your house, including the attic, basement and garage, chanting words that empower you.

Tips & Warnings

* When using incantations, say positive words that empower you rather than negative words against someone or something.

This is simple magic protection spell for the protection of a room, household or other physical location against negative energies or bad spirits.

How to cast it:

1.Cast a Witch's Circle. If you use a besom for this, sweep the entire area that you wish to protect.

2.Asperse (sprinkle with purified water) the area that you are protecting. Pay special attention to any doors, windows or corners.

3.Cast the sea salt around the edges of the area. You need not be heavy-handed, just a few salt crystals per foot is quite sufficient.

4.Light the incense and allow it to burn for a few moments before continuing. Many denominations of witchcraft begin chanting or prayers at this point.

5.Use the fan or feather to cense (direct smoke towards) the entire area. Work clockwise (doesil) and wave the fan through the smoke to send it outwards. As with the water, pay special attention to doors, windows and corners. Finish your chants and invoke any deities or energies whose blessing you desire upon the protected area. Finish with your normal ritual and close the circle.

How To Do White Magic Fire Spells

How To Do White Magic Fire Spells Cover Fire rituals have been around since ancient recorded history. Fire is a powerful symbol of transformation, and can be used, with the proper spiritual education, to supersede emotional blocks and processes that may hinder you. The fire ritual has been used for centuries to release that which no longer feels good, manifest goals and discharge limits that the participant might have so she can create anything that she, with earnest, asks to have in her life. It is easy to perform a white magic fire spell. All you need are a few objects, good intention and a dry match.

Instructions For The White Magic Fire Spell

1.For an outdoor burn, make sure that the ground is clear of debris and that you have made a fire ring with stones to contain the flame. If inside, consider disconnecting your smoke detector as well as opening a window (this last part is so that the smoke that carries your prayers can rise up to the heavens to be heard).
2.Add the sticks, twigs and dry leaves to the urn (or lay them in the fire ring). Place the dry leaves on the bottom of the pile and mix the twigs and the small branches over them. Now add any important objects you deem sacred, like a cross or a rosary, a Buddha statue, gemstones, sage or a special keepsake from your past.
3.Light the fire, then think about what you want to create in your life while you stare into the flame. Allow the hypnotizing essence of watching the fire guide you past your intellectual doubts and cynicism. The fire will soon burn out and turn into white-hot embers.
4.Add herbs to the glowing embers. As the smoke starts to rise, imagine in your mind's eye what it is that you want to improve, what you want to get rid of or what you want to manifest in your life.
5.Say your wishes out loud. For example: "Hear my prayer, (God, higher power, Buddha, etc.). Grant me blessings of joy, happiness, abundance and love." As the smoke rises, your prayers are carried to the heavens to be answered.

How To Cast Black Magic Spells

How To Cast Black Magic Spells Cover Performing Black Magic Spells requires a specific type of magic that should be practiced with caution and under the appropriate supervision of a covenant. Though results will vary, many practitioners swear that black magic is a tried-and-true form of religion that works to make your desire come true.

How to Cast Black magic spells Instructions

Things You'll Need:

* Bell

Step 1. Determine the type of black magic spell you want to cast. For example, do you want to create disorder, incite a disaster, bring bad luck?

Step 2. Write a new spell or refer to your book of shadows (see Resources).

Step 3. Ring a bell, chanting, three times:
We extinguish the light,
We render its death,
Violent light, light is dead.

Step 4. Imagine the person you want to cast a black magic spell against. For example, to ward off an enemy and incite fear, ask that fear be cast into his heart and trouble or disaster befall him. Follow by binding your enemy to his own fear and powerlessness. Forbid him from gaining power over you, and close the circle by ringing the bell three more times.

Step 5. Cast a black magic spell to ward off bad luck. Open the circle by extending your arms. Focus your mind on the bad luck that afflicts you and kneel to the ground. Still concentrating, dig a handful of dirt, and holding it in your hand, imagine the trouble or pain you want to cast away. State the exact problem or affliction--for example, trouble at work, a co-worker out to "get you" or gambling debt--and then throw the dirt over your shoulder. Continue to walk away without turning your gaze back to the dirt or the hole you dug in the earth.

Step 6. Cast a black magic spell to get an enemy to move. Write the name and date of birth of the person on parchment paper. Fold the paper with a photo wrapped inside until it is completely rolled around the photo. Guide the rolled paper into a bottle containing vinegar. Throw the bottle into a water source like a lake or ocean. As your hand thrusts the bottle forward, imagine the person leaving, or cast a verbal spell ordering him to leave. The spell must be cast when the moon is in a waning period.

Tips And Warnings

* Record the results of each black magic spell.
* Never use black magic as a game.

A Samhain Ritual For Wiccans And Pagans

A Samhain Ritual For Wiccans And Pagans Cover Samhain represents, among other things, the end of the harvest season. If you haven't picked it by Samhain, you probably won't be eating it! The gardens have died off by now, and where we once saw lush green plants, there is nothing left but dry and dead stalks. The perennials have shut down for the season too, going dormant so that they may return to us in the spring. Animals are brought in from the fields for the winter -- and if you've ever had a spider come wandering into your living room one chilly October night, you know that even the insects are trying to find a place to stay warm.

Difficulty: Average
Time Required: Varied
Here's How:
1.If we had lived a few hundreds of years ago, we would not only have brought our cows and sheep in from the pastures. Most likely we'd slaughter a few of them, as well as some pigs and goats, smoking the meat so it would last through the cold months. Our grain that we picked back at Lughnasadh has been baked into bread, and all of our herbs have been gathered, and hang from the rafters in the kitchen. The harvest is over, and now it's time to settle in for winter with the coziness of a warm fireplace, heavy blankets, and big pots of comfort food on the stovetop.

2.If you want to celebrate Samhain as the time of harvest's end, you can do so as a single ritual, or as the first of three days of ceremony. If you don't have a permanent altar in place, set up a table to leave in place for the three days prior to Samhain. This will act as a your family's temporary altar for the Sabbat. Decorate the altar with symbols of late fall, such as:

•Skulls, skeletons, grave rubbings, ghosts
•Harvest food such as pumpkins, squash, root vegetables
•Nuts and berries, dark breads
•Dried leaves and acorns
•A cornucopia filled with an abundance of fruit and veggies
•Mulled cider, wine, or mead

3.To begin your ceremony, prepare a meal for the family -- and this is something that everyone can get involved in. Put emphasis on fruits and vegetables, and wild game meat if available. Also make sure you have a loaf of a dark bread like rye or pumpernickel and a cup of apple cider or wine. Set the dinner table with candles and a fall centerpiece, and put all the food on the table at once. Consider the dinner table a sacred space.

4.Gather everyone around the table, and say:

Tonight is the first of three nights,
on which we celebrate Samhain.
It is the end of the harvest, the last days of summer,
and the cold nights wait on the other side for us.
The bounty of our labor, the abundance of the harvest,
the success of the hunt, all lies before us.
We thank the earth for all it has given us this season,
and yet we look forward to winter,
a time of sacred darkness.
5.Take the cup of cider or wine, and lead everyone outside. Make this a ceremonial and formal occasion. If you have a vegetable garden, great! Go there now -- otherwise, just find a nice grassy spot in your yard. Each person in the family takes the cup in turn and sprinkles a little bit of cider onto the earth, saying:

Summer is gone, winter is coming.
We have planted and
we have watched the garden grow,
we have weeded,
and we have gathered the harvest.
Now it is at its end.

6.If you have any late-fall plants still waiting to be picked, gather them up now. Collect a bundle of dead plants and use them to make a straw man or woman. If you follow a more masculine path, he may be your King of Winter, and rule your home until spring returns. If you follow the Goddess in her many forms, make a female figure to represent the Goddess as hag or crone in winter.

Once that is done, go back inside and bring your King of Winter into your home with much pomp and circumstance. Place him on your table and prop him up with a plate of his own, and when you sit down to eat, serve him first.

7.Begin your meal with the breaking of the dark bread, and make sure you toss a few crumbs outside for the birds afterwards. Keep the King of Winter in a place of honor all season long -- you can put him back outside in your garden on a pole to watch over next spring's seedlings, and eventually burn him at your Beltane celebration.

When you are finished with your meal, put the leftovers out in the garden. Wrap up the evening by playing games, such as bobbing for apples or telling spooky stories before a bonfire.

What You Need:
•A table to use as your Samhain altar
•Decorations that represent the late autumn season
•A meal with lots of veggies, fruit, and bread
•A cup of wine or cider
