Casting Circle Method 2

Casting Circle Method 2 Cover
Begin by placing candles that represent the elements in the directions they are associated with, North (earth), gets a green candle, East (air) gets a yellow, South (fire) gets red and West (water) gets blue. Set up your altar within and place a chalice of water and a bowl of salt there also. Light the candles, light the incense of your choice and bless the water with your wand, saying:

"I consecrate and cleanse this water that it be purified and fit to dwell within the sacred circle. In the name of the Mother Goddess and the Father God, I consecrate this water."

Bless the salt with the wand:

"I bless this salt so it may be fit to dwell within the sacred circle. In the name of the Mother Goddess and the Father God I bless this salt."

Face the north with wand, sword or athame at waist level and walk around the circle's perimeter either deosil (clockwise, for spells of invitation or increase) or widdershins (counterclockwise, for spells of banishment or uncrossing, dark moon rituals). As you do this, repeat:

"Here is the boundary of the circle. Naught but love shall enter in, naught but love shall emerge from within. Charge this by your power, old ones."

When circle is complete, sprinkle salt around it (deosil or widdershins) beginning in the north. Repeat with water, then lit incense, then hand (while envisioning a white hot fire emerging from your fingertips) so that the circle is sealed with representation of earth, water, air and fire.

Calling Elemental Spirits

Hold wand above head and petition the directions:

"O Watcher of the North, Guardian of all earth, I call upon you to join my circle tonight and join in my magickal workings and spiritual endeavors."

"O Watcher of the East, Guardian of the air and all that inhabits the skies, I call upon you to join my circle tonight and join in my magickal workings and spiritual endeavors."

"O Watcher of the South, Guardian of heat and fire, I call upon you to join my circle tonight and join in my magickal workings and spiritual endeavors."

"O Watcher of the West, Guardian of the waters, lakes and oceans, I call upon you to join my circle tonight and join in my magickal workings and spiritual endeavors."

Face each direction as you call it and visualize the energy of each element in it's candle color. You are now ready to invoke deities and perform your ritual or spell.

Leaving The Circle

To leave the circle for any reason requires a doorway. Visualize a door being cut with the athame and the energies absorbed in the handle. Exit and reseal around the same cut.

To Disperse The Circle

Face North with wand as in the calling and recite:

"Farewell, Spirit of the North. Thank you for your presence this night. Go in power.
Farewell, Spirit of the East. Thank you for your presence this night. Go in power.
Farewell, Spirit of the South. Thank you for your presence this night. Go in power.
Farewell, Spirit of the West. Thank you for your presence this night. Go in power."

Pierce the circle at waist level with the athame and move deosil or widdershins around the circle (whatever is the opposite direction you cast in). The energy will return to the knife.

"Circle open, but unbroken. Power down, to the ground".

The Inner Temple Of Witchcraft Magick Meditation And Psychic Development

The Inner Temple Of Witchcraft Magick Meditation And Psychic Development Cover

Book: The Inner Temple Of Witchcraft Magick Meditation And Psychic Development by Christopher Penczak

The Inner Temple of Witchcraft is a thorough course of education, introspection, meditation, and the development of the magickal and psychic abilities that are the birthright of the witch. Four introductory chapters present the history, traditions, and principles of witchcraft, followed by thirteen lessons that start with basic meditation techniques and culminate in a self-initiation ceremony equivalent to the first-degree level of traditional coven-based witchcraft.

This book's non-dogmatic presentation encourages an eclectic, personal approach while providing a strong foundation for the practice of witchcraft and magick. Develop your psychic abilities and practice potent magickal techniques as you explore the source of every witch's power--the temple within.

These two new titles from Llewellyn focus on witchcraft, or Wicca, a cluster of religious rituals and beliefs deriving from ancient European polytheisms or paganisms. The author of seven books on witchcraft, Grimassi is a practicing Italian witch (a strega) who has researched the history and theory of witchcraft back to antiquity, with a view to recovering and preserving teachings and lore. As a result, the book is primarily a historical study of various European witchcraft traditions. Even when considering magickal techniques for the focusing of natural power or discussing methods of psychic development, the author takes pains to cover their historical development. While Grimassi's book will appeal more to scholars of religion, Penczak's book will appeal to believers and interested casual readers. An active witch and teacher of modern neo-Paganism, Penczak teaches classes (mainly in New England) on witchcraft and various other New Age practices such as reiki, shamanic journeying, and past-life regression. His book aims at using Wiccan techniques (generally termed "Magick") to aid in personal growth. Accordingly, after a brief history and some basic theory of Wiccan spirituality comprising four chapters, there follow 13 lesson-chapters on techniques of spiritual growth, each followed by appropriate exercises. A minor criticism: some of the material discussed, while probably hermetic or occult in origin, is not ordinarily considered Wiccan but pertains to other religious traditions. Astral travel, for instance, is more often a feature of Shamanism, while chakras are a part of yoga. Both books provide a useful introduction to modern witchcraft and are recommended for both academic and public libraries, particularly those with substantial religion collections.

As you progress through this year-and-a-day course of study, you will explore a wide range of topics that support and inform the dedicated witch:

- Ancient and modern magickal philosophy
- Modern scientific theories supporting a new definition of reality
- "Instant" magick techniques for protection, healing, and serenity
- Energy work and anatomy, including chakras and auras
- Astral travel, dreams, and spirit guides
- Healing techniques for body, mind, and spirit

Unlike most beginner books on Witchcraft, this book does not focus on spells, tools, or celebrating the wheel of the year (Sabbats). It is all to often that student of the Craft go straight to traditional spellwork without understanding how or why it works. The author insists that students who have not experienced energy or psychic powers, the "foundation stones or magick", will have a less profound experience in ritual. Instead this book focuses on the journey within, psychic development, meditation, and magick.

The book starts out with four introductory chapters that gives basic definitions of the word "witch", such as the healer and walker between worlds. It describes Witchcraft as an art, science, and spirituality and describes the ancient history and modern traditions of Witchcraft. The rest of the book is divided into 13 lessons along with exercises, meditations, and homework to go along with "a year and a day" study course. Lesson topics include meditation, ancient philosophy, magickal theory, protection, astral projection, light, energy anatomy (chakras, auras, etc.), spirit guides, and healing.

In my opinion, The Inner Temple of Witchcraft is an extraordinary text. Christopher Penczak's eclectic approach and personal experience makes this book a pleasure to read. When reading a book on Witchcraft, what's better than one written by an experienced minister and practitioner of the Craft.

This book makes me feel better knowing that I'm not the only one who can't figure out what it really is to "visualize your intent" right off the bat. It eases you into a meditative practice, visualization, affirmations, healing, chakra work, etc. He presents the skills as progressive lessons so the format is easy to follow. All the other magic 101 books say that magical skill comes with practice, but once again, this book is much more useful. Instead of just saying that you should practice, Penczak actually lists homework at the end of each lesson.

Secret Magic Spells Of The Romany Gypsies

Secret Magic Spells Of The Romany Gypsies Cover

Book: Secret Magic Spells Of The Romany Gypsies by Mcgiolla Cathain

Gypsies have always been noted for their psychic ability and their uncanny knowledge of things to come, but where did these mysterious people come from? Read about their history.

The first known appearance of the Gypsies was their migration from the wilds of Northern India in the tenth century. Splitting up into dozens of bands, they spread across Europe and into the British Isles. Eventually Gypsies lived in almost every country in the world, including the Americas.

Where these mysterious, secretive people originated remains a mystery, although theories abound. Maybe they are descendants of the Egyptian Mother Goddess Isis. Some believe a Gypsy helped forge the nails for Christ's cross, and for this all Gypsies were banished, destined forever to be a people without a homeland. One theory suggests Gypsies are the descendants of survivors of a U.F.O. crash in India's mountains.

Gypsy magic is very difficult to understand since it has its arcane history and folklore; to get a clear concept about this culture we first start describing the term gypsy. It is very hard to be specific about the gypsy culture since there are several meanings; at the beginning the word was used to refer the first roman people who appeared in England around 16 th century. Although now the term is sometimes associated to these individuals, most of people use the word gypsy to speak about those who live by the Roman lifestyle. Back to the gypsy magic, we remark that this culture has always been spotted by its psychic abilities and knowledge of the future;

To explain the origin of the gypsy magic we could take some information which says that gypsies are descendants of Egyptian mother goddesses, Isis who gave them the power not only to predict the future but also to spell curses. Another theory affirm that gypsies were the one who forged Christ cross and, as punishment, they were condemned to live a life without homeland; no matter where they are from, these people are fascinating and acclaimed fortune tellers and experts on arcane arts.

It is believe that gypsy magic might be performed in different ways but only women are able do the future readings; it is true that some fortune tellers are impostors who take advantage of their reputation. In gypsy magic we can see typical elements or “tools” that these people use to perform their job: crystal balls, tarot cards, tea cups for future readings, etc. The main attractive characteristic of the gypsy magic is not based only in their cards or crystal balls; they are also very observant people and they can tell many things about someone by only reading the appearance of their patrons. If we ask someone what he or she knows about gypsy magic, they will probably give an answer related to curses, and they are not so far away from reality; gypsies may put a spell on anybody just by staring them deeply; the most common one is called “the glamour” and also known as “evil eye”. The other common gypsy magic practice is the “cross my palm with silver”, here the gypsy witch, without using a cristal ball, will read the palm of our hands and will tell us the near and distant future; the do not ask for money in return but they do expect us to be generous.

Money Magnet Manifestation Song

Money Magnet Manifestation Song Image
Like I have mentioned in many previous posts here on this blog, manifestation is a part of life. We all do it in some way or another every day. Whether it is positive or negative that is up to you.

MANIFESTATION, POSITIVE THOUGHT DRAWING POSITIVE REALITY..

One way of looking at manifestation is a positive aspect of what you want in life. If you keep looking at what you do not or the negative, what will end up happening. Negative will keep happening. So what is the solution. The solution is focus on what is positive that you want.

In many ways it is the like a magnet, a magnet for the energy of your positive thoughts. If that thought is money in a positive way, then the body will start attracting money in all aspects of your life. Take a look around at those that always seem to have money, there is a commonality with them. They expect money positively Now you need to ask yourself, do you expect money to magnetize into your life. Are you positively charged to handle money? And lastly are you creating the world in which you live by the thought forms you have every day? "Most likely you are.."

While it is a positive song for manifestation, it is not a total solution to bringing more money in your life.. See it as a positive tool.. You need to positively charge yourself for what you want and positively believe it will come to you as well.

Like anything positive, only positive can be attracted to it..

Exegesis On The Wiccan Rede

Exegesis On The Wiccan Rede Cover

Book: Exegesis On The Wiccan Rede by Judy Harrow

All religions began with somebody's sudden flashing insight, enlightenment, a shining vision. Some mystic found the way and the words to share the vision, and, sharing it, attracted followers. The followers may repeat those precise and poetic words about the vision
until they congeal into set phrases, fused language, repeated by rote and without understanding. Cliches begin as great wisdom - that's why they spread so fast - and end as ritual phrases, heard but not understood. Living Spirituality so easily hardens to boring religious routine, maintained through guilt and fear, or habit and social opportunism - any reason but joy.

We come to the Craft with a first generation's joy of discovery, and a first generation's memory of bored hours of routine worship in our childhood. Because we have known the difference, it is our particular challenge to find or make ways to keep the Craft a living,
real Experience for our grandchildren and for the students of our students.

I think the best of these safeguards is already built into the Craft as we know it, put there by our own good teachers. On our Path, the mystic experience itself is shared, not just the fruits of mysticism. We give all our students the techniques, and the
protective/supportive environment that enable almost every one of them to Draw the Moon and/or Invoke the God. This is an incredibly radical change from older religions, even older Pagan religions, in which the only permissible source of inspiration has been to endlessly
reinterpret and reapply the vision of the Founder (the Bible, the Book of the Law, the Koran, ... ). The practice of Drawing the Moon is the brilliant crown of the Craft.
